Overview

This is just one example of how easy it is for Kleber to capture an address – using either the Australian PAF or GNAF datasets.

As the user starts to type an address in the top field they are dynamically provided with validated address options in a list. This predictive capability allows the user to find their address with less keystrokes for a better UX.

Once they select their address from the list it seamlessly populates the address form.

Capturing and validating an address on entry saves time and money. No more having to cleanse databases after the fact and hope you’ve got the correct address!

What if the user’s address doesn’t appear in the list?

Sometimes a user just plain enters their address incorrectly, meaning it’s hard to find even if it does exist in the dataset.

Kleber’s got you covered though!

Our Human Touch technology finds addresses others can’t.

Just as us how by selecting ‘Sales” in the Let’s Talk chat box.

How was this demo created?

To learn how implement predictive address capture using Kleber – click here for a walkthrough. It explains:

  • how to make the search method predictive,
  • when to call the retrieve address method to autofill your form, etc.

(Note: For demonstration purposes we’ve chosen to display the selected address on a map as part of this showcase – but this isn’t necessary to the process.)

Read our blog on why Not all address capture data is equal!

(IMPORTANT: A retrieve method must always be used in conjunction with a search method. If a retrieve method is not called, or not utilised with an appropriate retrieve ratio to searches, an auto retrieve cost will be applied to your account to ensure you do not breach the data licencing conditions.)

License considerations

Users should read the Terms and Conditions of the Australia Post Postal Address File (PAF) and/ or the GNAF file to make sure the intended use complies.
In regards to the AuPAF methods –the DataTools.Capture.Address.Predictive.AuPaf.SearchAddress MUST be utilised with either the DataTools.Capture.Address.Predictive.AuPaf.RetrieveAddress: DataTools.Verify.Address.AuPaf.VerifyAddress; OR DataTools.Repair.Address.AuPaf.RepairAddress method to ensure the appropriate Australia Post PAF Royalties is paid and data licencing compliance is met.
In regards to the GNAF methods – the DataTools.Capture.Address.Predictive.Gnaf.SearchAddress MUST be utilised with the DataTools.Capture.Address.Predictive.Gnaf.RetrieveAddress and/or the DataTools.Capture.Address.Predictive.Gnaf.RetrieveGeocode to ensure data licencing compliance.
