More and more businesses are finding that they need to know the exact location for an address. The G-NAF geocode method can help with this requirement.

Kleber’s geocode method uses the latest G-NAF data from PSMA Australia. It is considered the foundation geocoded address database for Australian businesses and governments & includes over 13.5 million addresses.
How was this demo created?
In this showcase the user enters the street address information into the fields on the form. When they click the ‘Get Geocodes’ button the address information is sent to the DataTools.Enhance.Address.Geocoding.Gnaf.Au.Append method. The method returns a number of fields – including the longitude, latitude, meshblock results etc.
As a purely optional extra we have also chosen to pass the latitude and longitude information through to Google Maps so it can be displayed to the user as proof of location.
