From May 1st 2016, DataTools will be implementing a policy to automatically applied methods to help clients comply with data licencing conditions from our data suppliers.
In particular these will be for address retrieve methods. Retrieve methods include the cost of royalties to data providers and this policy has been put in place to ensure that the retrieve of an address is being called appropriately for the number of search methods utilised so that should an external audit be conducted by our data providers, no action need be taken to recover costs from our clients, etc.
Should you see a ^ beside any of the methods used in your Kleber account – this will indicate that a automatic method (and associated cost) was applied.
You can monitor the amount and cost of these methods via your My Account > Balance& Usage > Transaction Usage Details page. Use the ‘Method Name’ drop down box to filter to the method in question.
